



Very strong and tall representation of a male ancestor with porcelain inlaid eyes. There is a hole in the mouth and another one in the groin to receive movable parts - a pipe and a penis. Very heavy wood, dark rich patina, with a prewar japanese sticker still on the back. This piece among others from the collection was displayed from December, 2007 to September, 2008 at the Shisanhang Prehistory Museum, Taipei County, Taiwan. The exhibition was dedicated to the Paiwan material culture.
